Who am I?
I was born in Bulgaria and grew up on the east coast of the United States. At the University, I studied Archeology and Computer Science. From there, I moved onto a software engineering job in corporate america. If you are looking for a resume, feel free to look me up on LinkedIn.
In my free time, I love to travel, explore new cultures and hike through nature. You might also find me playing a board game or two on a lazy afternoon.
What is this website about?
This website is a collection of personal experiences and thoughts. It will have a focus on technology and the interaction between technology and society. I am a bit of a history buff and I tend to think about the impact of technology on the way people lived throughout history. I can't claim that I will have anything meaningful on the topic, but this website is the outlet of those thoughts.
I will probably write some more technical articles (with code snippets and such), but most of the time I will try to stick to a wider view even when covering technical topics.
Currently, I am taking some time off from professional software engineering and traveling as much as covid will allow. The picture above is from a trip to Saudi Arabia in fall of 2021.
I find that I prefer being in warm places during the winter.
